Management of School Policies

In order to remain effective as a governing body, it is essential that we maintain and adhere to a series of policies and guidelines – both statutory and mandatory. The governors review all policies and guidelines in accordance with a review timetable and the website is then updated where possible to show the revised policy and procedures. Our policy covering the Management of School Policies was discussed and reviewed in September 2015; this is shown below.

School Attendance Policy 2015

The Governing Body of Clyst Hydon Primary School oversee many policies of which the Whole School Attendance Policy is one. The Education Welfare Officer completes an annual registration audit which includes examining children’s absences and the reasons recorded for those absences. We understand that sometimes it is not possible to attend every learning session, perhaps because of illness or other circumstances; however we would encourage you to ensure that your child attends every possible session as planned.
